Day 01 - Depart for Barcelona

Day 02 - Arrive to Barcelona

On your arrival you will be driven to your hotel. Later your guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you on an evening walking tour of this artistic and sophisticated city called by many the Paris of the South. Walk along the elegant Paseo da Gracia and admire Antonio Gaudi's masterpieces. Then continue on to Las Ramblas which comes alive every night, en route to the Gothic Quarter.

When finished enjoy a welcome dinner in one of the many popular restaurants found in the heart of the gay district, and discover why Barcelona has earned the reputation as Spain's culinary capital of the north.

Day 03 - Barcelona - Day in the Valley of Penedes

Today visit Spain's northern Wine and Cava region in the Valley of Penedes. Start with a visit to Penede's Wine and Cava museum. Learn how the art of wine making has been passed from one generation to another for over 400 years. This will be followed by a tour of this historical town. Here learn of the different festivities which take place throughout the year. Continue with an informative visit to family owned bodegas, where you'll taste wines not exported outside of Spain. Finish your visit to Penedes with a delicious lunch at one of the many popular Masias (small chateaus) owned and run by local families overlooking the Valley and its vineyards. Return to your hotel and rest before tonight's events.

Day 04 - Barcelona

Today your knowledgeable guide will start your visit of Barcelona with a tour of architect Antonio Gaudi's masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia, Barcelona's architectural landmark and one of the most admired Cathedrals in the world. Then visit another artistic and original work by Gaudi, the beautiful and original Parc Guell, surrounded by breathtaking views of Barcelona. Tonight join the locals once more for another Night Out, and find out why Barcelona has earned the reputation as one of the wildest cities in Europe.

Day 05 - Barcelona

Today visit the Gothic District. Here become acquainted with Barcelona's art scene when you visit the Pablo Picasso Museum, which houses the largest retrospective and permanent exhibit of this great artist and where you'll witness Picasso's different stages of art development.

After a typical Catalan lunch, continue with a tour of the former and once thriving Medieval/Jewish Quarter, the Cathedral, the Palacio Generalite and the many sites of historical importance found throughout this medieval quarter. Rest of the afternoon on your own. Rest of the day on your own. Today relax in one of the many cafes lined along the avenues or take the time to do some shopping.

Day 06 - Sevilla

This morning fly to Sevilla, the heart and pulse of Andalucia. After you've settled in your central accommodations, enjoy a walking tour of the historic quarter in the midst of this vibrant city.

Start your tour with a visit of the impressive Cathedral, one of the largest in Spain, then continue to La Giralda the famed Moorish tower built in the 8th century as a look-out post. This be followed by a visit to the Patio de los Naranjos, a unique Moorish garden lined with orange trees over 600 years old. Then return to your hotel to freshen up before stepping out to the Pink District where Gay Sevilla meets.

Day 07 - Sevilla

Today continue your visit of Sevilla. Visit the Alcazar, a Moorish magnificent Palace originally built by the Moors in the 8th century and later expanded during the 14th century by King Peter the Cruel. Then continue to the former house of Pontius Pilatus. This will be followed by a visit to the magnificent Royal Gardens, the Spanish Pavilion or Plaza de Espana, built for the International fair in 1920 and the Cathedral where the local patron, La Virgen de la Macarena resides. Rest of the day on your own.

Day 08 - Madrid - Segovia

Today you leave for the region of Castilla, immortalized by the famous Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes. Travel comfortably in the fast train AVE to Madrid. Once in Madrid you'll be driven to the medieval city of Segovia.

This city is unique and famous for its love accounts and tragedies which have been recorded by many poets and writers. After checking at the Berganza Family Manor/Chateau, where you'll be treated like royalty.

Enjoy dinner in one of the of Segovia's unique 400 year old restaurants, frequented by Spain's King Juan Carlos de Borbon and his family. Followed by a visit to the imposing Roman Aqueduct, built in 211 A.D., which still stands and functions to this day.

Day 09 - Segovia

Today visit the Alcazar Castle, the most photographed and famous medieval Castle in all of Spain, a favorite of Queen Isabel and King Fernando, who in the 15th century unified all of Spain under one rule. Here you'll have a glimpse of what it was like to live in the court as a medieval King. Later visit the impressive Cathedral and take a walking tour of this unique city and it many sites of historic importance found in the old quarter. Rest of the day on your own.

Day 10 - Toledo - Madrid

Today spend the day visiting the medieval city of Toledo on a hill. Here you'll tour the former Jewish/Medieval Quarter with its magnificent synagogues, and majestic Cathedral. Then visit Spanish master painter El Greco's home and museum, followed by the permanent exhibit of hismasterpiece, The Burial of Count Ordaz. End your tour of Toledo, by enjoying the local specialties during lunch, before continuing to regal Madrid and Spain's gay capital.

Settle in your hotel located in the heart of the Salamanca district, one of the most exclusive areas of Madrid. This evening join the local Madrilenos in the exciting night life that this city has to offer. Your escort will take you on a fabulous tour of the Chueca Gay district, a city within a city that never sleeps, where you'll be introduced you to the popular clubs and bars found all throughout the Chueca district.

Day 11 - Madrid

Spend the day becoming acquainted with both regal and old Madrid. You'll start by visiting El Prado Museum which houses a renowned art collection of classical Spanish masters.

In the afternoon enjoy a walking tour of the old historic district by the Plaza Mayor, embellished and made famous by the Spanish painter, Velazquez. Walk through the narrow streets of old Madrid and become acquainted with the old quarter.

Tonight join the local Madrilenos in the art of tapas tasting. Later, return to the clubs and bars that have established Gay Madrid as one of Europe's hottest Gay Meccas.

Day 12 - Madrid - Day on your own.

Today relax in one of the many lively cafes lined along the avenues, where you can enjoy Madrid's favorite pastime, people watching. Take this time to do some last minute shopping in one of Europe's most important capitals of fashion.

Tonight join the group for a farewell dinner. Say good-bye to Madrid by dancing the night away in the Chueca district, or strolling down the streets full of life. Evening on your own.
