Day 01 – Madrid
On your arrival you will be greeted and driven to your centrally located
hotel near the sizzling Gay district of Chueca, a city within a city
that never sleeps! Enjoy welcome drinks and dinner in one of the popular
restaurants found in the heart of Chueca. When finished your escort
will introduce you to Madrid’s famed night life, where you’ll
celebrate National Gay Pride Week, the Spanish way.
Day 02 – Madrid
Spend the day becoming acquainted with both regal and old Madrid. Optional:
Morning tour of the magnificent El Prado Museum, which houses a renowned
and impressive art collection of classical Spanish and European masters.
Your guide will take you through a retrospective of these Spanish masters,
who influenced the art movement in Europe.
Take an afternoon walking tour of this magnificent city when you visit
Madrid’s Royal Palace and it’s Renaissance Gardens, across
from the Opera House. Then continue to the historic quarter and La Plaza
Mayor, embellished and made famous by the Spanish painter, Diego de Velazquez.
Here enjoy a visit of the old tapas district where local Madrilenos meet.
When finished, return to your hotel and rest. This evening, join the
nightly Gay Pride celebrations taking place when you return to your favorite
spots in Chueca.
Day 03 – Madrid
This afternoon join all of Spain at the massive Gay Pride Parade, followed
by the many parties and celebrations starting this afternoon and continuing
into the next morning.
Days 04/05/06/07/08 – Ibiza
Today you will driven to Madrid’s airport for your short flight
to beautiful Ibiza. Your transfer will take you to your centrally located
hotel by the fabulously active Bora Bora Beach. Spend the next five days
relaxing by the pool, or on the sunny beaches found throughout this magnificent
island. Enjoy the water activities Ibiza has to offer, or work on your
tan surrounded by the beautiful people that visit this island each year.
Join your group for 2 days of picnics in two of the most popular all
gay beaches. In the evenings visit the Dalt historic district full of
great bars, before partying in Ibiza’s outrageous clubs where Gay
Europe comes to play!
Day 09 – Barcelona
Today you fly to cosmopolitan Barcelona, where you’ll be greeted
and driven to your lovely hotel located in the heart of the gay district.
This evening enjoy a panoramic tour of this magnificent city called by
many “the Paris of the South”. Your escort will accompany
you to the lively gay district for a farewell dinner and the best transvestite
show in Barcelona. Then discover why Barcelona has earned the title as
Europe’s Gay hot spot.
Day 10 – Barcelona
Your knowledgeable guide will take you on a comprehensive tour of majestic
Barcelona. Start with a visit to architect Antonio Gaudi’s masterpiece
La Sagrada Familia, Barcelona’s architectural landmark and one
of the most admired Cathedrals in the world. Then continue to another
of Gaudi’s original works, the beautiful Parc Guell. After a
typical Catalan lunch, enjoy a walking tour of the historic Gothic
Quarter. Here tour the magnificent Pablo Picasso Museum, which houses
the largest retrospective and permanent exhibit of this great artist.
Then continue to the lively Las Ramblas Avenue, where you can do some
last minute shopping. Tonight say goodbye to Barcelona when you return
to the Gay district for another night out.
Day 11 – Barcelona
Day on your own. Today relax on your last day in sophisticated Barcelona,
do some last minute shopping or spend a leisurely day relaxing in one
of the many cafes found along the main avenues.
Day 12 – Return home
Today you will be driven to the airport for your return flight home.
